Sophkos is a third-generation financial intelligence infrastructure — built on mathematical foundations, OSINT-led research and the operational requirements of regulated environments. We exist to make financial-crime intelligence connected, defensible and decision-grade.
The first generation gave institutions rules engines and case management. The second added analytics, segmentation and risk scoring. Both still treat financial crime as a queue of alerts. Sophkos starts from a different premise: financial intelligence is a connected, time-aware, evidentiary object — and the infrastructure should treat it that way from the first event onward.
The platform is grounded in graph theory, behavioural analytics, catastrophe theory and OSINT tradecraft — disciplines that pre-date financial-crime technology and that survive every wave of regulatory and product change.
We are intentional about that foundation. Vendors come and go; mathematics does not. Tradecraft accumulates; vendor features depreciate.
The approach is unusual in financial-crime technology: an OSINT-led research practice paired with engineering-grade software, designed from day one for the regulated environment. Not a vendor with a feature roadmap; an infrastructure with an intelligence point of view.
Typology, OSINT methodology, regulatory architecture and adversarial behaviour are continuous research streams — not product-marketing artefacts. The library is the product.
We engineer against invariants — provenance, reproducibility, versioning, deterministic replay — rather than against the next feature request. The platform is built to be auditable by construction.
API, SDK, platform, white-label and hybrid. We meet institutions where their operating model already is, rather than forcing a single deployment topology onto every customer.
We work with banks, EMIs, crypto businesses, law firms, regulators and law-enforcement partners on multi-year intelligence programmes — not transactional procurements.
These are not slogans. They are constraints we have refused to relax across the platform — even where doing so would have been faster, cheaper or easier to sell.
Every decision the platform makes can be reproduced — same inputs, same rules, same model versions, same outputs. The decision trail is a first-class object, not a log file. If a regulator asks why, the platform answers.
Every conclusion is bound to its evidence. Provenance, source reliability, time of observation and corroboration are stored alongside the conclusion. Unsourced claims do not survive the schema.
Machine reasoning surfaces, ranks and explains. A qualified human approves. The platform records who approved what, when, on what evidence, and against which policy version.
The platform is built to be inspected — by internal audit, external audit, supervisor, AMLA, FCA, FINTRAC, FinCEN, MAS or any equivalent authority. Regulatory readiness is a property of the system, not a programme on top of it.
Sophkos does not publish multiple sales lines. Briefings, evaluations, partnership conversations, regulatory co-operation and data-protection matters all begin at the same address. The right team member is routed by subject and responds within one business day.
